Poster Presentations

As an undergraduate student new to the research world, the poster presentation will be a common way to communicate your findings at conferences, colloquia, and other meetings. A poster summarizes your research through graphics and text in a way that is visually interesting and accessible. It allows you to share your research with a large number of people and network with professionals in your field. While you will usually stand next to your poster to further discuss your research with attendees, the poster should be understandable and informative on its own. It should clearly articulate what you did, how you did it, why you did it, and what it contributes to your field and the larger field of human knowledge.
