COMSOL Multiphysics

So here goes the first blog.

I’m working with Luke Theogarajan (he is so awesome!) in the ECE Department. I am going to be modeling nanoscale physics on a computer program called COMSOL Multiphysics. I will be running simulations on COMSOL to determine what type of results should be expected if the experiment was conducted in the lab. As of right now, I do not know very much about using COMSOL so I am learning the ropes. I’m not working in the lab; this is all done at home or in the CAD Lab so it is a bit informal. It’s really on my own time.

I just finished a week and half of hell; I had 4 midterms, but now I have a bit more time to devote to working on research. I’ll be attending a COMSOL Workshop on the 10th, which will hopefully boost my knowledge of the program. πŸ™‚

Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend! πŸ™‚
